In addition to wineries, this region is home to a number of incredible small businesses, from cheese-mongers to bakeries and florists, the Niagara Benchlands are a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

Start your adventure at Revalee Brunch Café. This local café offers modern brunch fare including unique vegan dishes from the bounty of Niagara. With options like a Smoked Salmon Rösti, Duck and Waffle, Vegan Strawberries and Cream French Toast, as well as Vegan Shakshuka, this will quickly become a new favourite spot.
Balls Falls Conservation Area -
In the heart of the Niagara Benchlands, Ball’s Falls offers spectacular scenery and natural beauty. After your meal, enjoy a stroll amongst nature and visit a waterfall or two. After an adventurous hike, pop into The Watering Can Flower Market and treat yourself to one of their delicious desserts and a warm or cool drink from the café. Afterwards, meander around observing the diverse plants,. And take home a gorgeous bouquet or succulent.
Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery -
Take a picturesque 12-minute drive through Twenty Valley to Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery in St. Catharines for a private wine tour (reservations required book here). Learn the history of the winery while sipping our award-winning Cuvée Catharine Sparkling wine followed by a tour of the grounds, a peek at the Smith Family cemetery, and a visit to Canada’s largest underground working barrel cellar. At the end of your day, visit the Upper Canada Cheese Company located in the quaint town of Jordan. Browse their wide range of award-winning cheeses and take some home as a memento of your visit to the Bench. These artisanal cheeses are made fresh from Guernsey milk and goat milk from local farms in Ontario and pair perfectly with Henry of Pelham wines produced from our farm in the Short Hills Bench.

Intimate spaces for special occasions
Henry of Pelham offers several spaces for formal and informal events and meetings, with room for up to 30 people. We've helped host anniversaries, office parties, showers, birthdays, annual general meetings and more. Our light-filled ballroom, which is also a beautiful gallery space featuring work from Canadian artists, is a bright venue for daytime events and an elegant room to host evening gatherings. Our barrel cellar is a cool retreat from the summer heat and cozy space for fall and winter events for smaller groups. Catering is available from the Coach House Café.
And with anything from Henry's wine list available to event organizers, the drinks are guaranteed to be crowd-pleasers.
