2011 Cabernet Icewine

our wine /

Description

“A pretty, pale, cranberry colour, this is a vibrant scrumptious wine offering aromas and flavours of homemade strawberry-rhubarb jam, raspberry, fresh floral notes and a whiff of sweet vanilla. Tangy and sweet, in perfect counterpoint, the lively acidity assures the fresh texture with the depth and richness of fruit delivering a luscious smooth finish that leaves a gentle residual warmth. Delicious, so sip it on its own, or if you must, serve it with a cranberry pecan tart.” 4.5 stars (out of 5)
- Susan Desjardins, WineCurrent.com, November 2011

“Aromas of raspberry, cherry and strawberry fold into sweet notes of honey. It’s a lighter style than I remember with rich, but not-overpowering fruits, and medium acid.” 88 points
